Professional Experience

 

  • Spring Creek Artworks 1998 – Present

Spring Creek Artworks is a 10.500 square foot commercial building consisting of individual rental units for visual artists. Approximately 3000 square feet of this building is studio space for my use as a professional artist. It is divided into four areas, welding/fabrication, woodworking, design and glass, stone and ceramics. I have been involved in the fabrication and installation of public artwork both for myself and other professional artists.

  • Custom Metals 2007 – 2010

Design, fabricate and install high end metalwork including foundry and forge work, mold making and prototyping.

  • Contractor/General Contractor 1990 – Present

Worked in all phases of commercial and residential construction, i.e. design, plumbing, concrete and carpentry. I have designed and built showrooms for motor sports dealers, law offices, houses and all types of renovations. I have extensive experience working with architects, building inspectors, landscapers, subcontractors and various city, town and county boards.

  • USAF/Wisconsin Air National Guard 1980 – 2001

Retired in March 2001. I worked primarily in aircraft weapons systems with a high concentration in training, certification, management and continuing education. I have supervised crews of up to 45 people. I have written appraisals and awards. I have certificates of training from Stephen Covey and have course work certificates for Quality and Safety Assessments.
